Basketball Recap: Corunna Takes a Loss

Corunna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 75-40 loss at the hands of the Flushing Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 626th, while the Raiders are ranked 231st).

Corunna's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Flushing, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corunna will take on Goodrich at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Goodrich will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Corunna surely won't give up without a fight. As for Flushing, they will square off against Linden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
