There's no place like home for Powell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Oak Ridge Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

While Powell won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 25-18.

Powell's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Oak Ridge, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.
