Softball Recap: Stillman Valley Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Stillman Valley proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Oregon Hawks 5-4. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Stillman Valley's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-8. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9 runs. As for Oregon, their loss dropped their record down to 21-11.

Stillman Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oregon, they will face off against Pecatonica at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Hawks are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
