Baseball Recap: Carle Place Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Carle Place waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the East Rockaway Rocks. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win on Tuesday.

Colin Driscoll was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Philip Bunt was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Carle Place's record now sits at 14-5. As for East Rockaway, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

As of now, neither Carle Place nor the Rocks have any future games scheduled.
