Softball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Comes Up Short

If Legacy Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 18-7 takedown of Alpaugh on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions came up short against the Del Oro Suns on Friday, falling 17-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Suns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-8 back in March.

Emily Kahana made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Ava Houchin, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Legacy Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Del Oro, their record now sits at 7-18-1.

Coming up, Legacy Christian Academy will venture away from home to square off against Kings Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Del Oro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
