Basketball Game Preview: Eastside Blazers vs. Central Noble Cougars

Eastside is 1-9 against Central Noble since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Eastside Blazers will challenge the Central Noble Cougars at 7:30 p.m.

Eastside is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 27th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. The game between Eastside and Churubusco didn't end well, with Eastside falling 55-36.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Central Noble had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 48-38 victory over the Panthers. The Cougars are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.

Eastside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Central Noble, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.

Eastside ended up a good deal behind Central Noble in their previous matchup back in January, losing 58-39. Can Eastside avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
