Soccer Game Preview: Hudson vs. Palestine

Hudson is 0-10 against Palestine since March of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Hudson Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Palestine Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hudson is headed into the contest having not lost since January 2 and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Diboll onto the board and left with a 4-0 win on Friday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Hornets were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, everything went Palestine's way against Crockett on Friday as Palestine made off with a 7-1 victory. Rolando Gallegos was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Palestine has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 46 goals over those nine games. As for Hudson, their win bumped their record up to 7-1-2.

Hudson might still be hurting after the 8-1 loss they got from Palestine when the teams last played back in March of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Hudson was down 6-0.
