Baseball Recap: Terra Nova Takes a Loss

Terra Nova and Piedmont Hills squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Terra Nova had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since April 16, 2024.

Austin Snead was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Terra Nova's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7-1. As for Piedmont Hills, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-9.

As of now, neither Terra Nova nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
