Soccer Recap: Montgomery Takes a Loss

The matchup between Montgomery and Meadowbrook Christian on Friday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Red Raiders fell just short of Meadowbrook Christian by a score of 5-4. That's two games in a row now that Montgomery have lost by just one goal.

They hit Meadowbrook Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from MIRANDA STAGGERT (2), ALEAHA GRIMM, and ADDISON GRIMM.

Montgomery's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Montgomery and Meadowbrook Christian will both be playing Columbia Montour Vo-Tech the next time they take the pitch. The Red Raiders will head out to face the Rams at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Meadowbrook Christian will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
