Winners of five in a row, No. 6 Batavia fell to St. Charles East. The Fighting Saints improved to 6-1.
St. Laurence was another unranked team springing an upset, beating No. 18 Brother Rice 21-10.
No. 7 Simeon, No. 10 Homewood-Flossmoor, No. 13 Glenwood, No. 14 Glenbard West, No. 16 Huntley, No. 21 IC Catholic Prep and No. 23 Phillips all registered shutout victories.
