Frontier is 9-1 against Garces Memorial since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Titans will square off against the Rams at 6:00 p.m. Frontier is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
Last Wednesday, Frontier made easy work of Liberty and carried off a 12-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.
Taylor Sloss made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Charley Hawkins was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Emma Parnell also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Garces Memorial sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over Clovis East on Tuesday.
Garces Memorial also got a great performance from Jaiden Gutierrez as she didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Viviana Sanchez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. Lexi Marquez was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Garces Memorial has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 16-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Frontier, their record is now 10-7.
Wednesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Frontier hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .333. However, it's not like Garces Memorial struggles in that department as they've averaged .333. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Frontier skirted past Garces Memorial 3-2 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
