League recap: Western Christian leads league with two wins since last week

Western Christian outperformed the rest of the league this week, as its two total wins led the league. The Fighting Lancers beat Linfield Christian 3-2 and Ontario Christian 4-0.

Brady Smith was the hottest hitter in Ambassador this week, racking up a .375 average with four RBIs. Woodcrest Christian went 1-0.

Woodcrest Christian gave up the fewest hits in the league over the past week (three), but the Lions have surrendered a league-fewest 39 base hits over the entire season.

Nine batters hit over .400 this week. They were led by Dante Chupek, who hit .833 this week (5-for-6).

Brett Prater's six RBIs this week put him at the number one spot for the league. He now stands at 13 RBIs on the season, which puts him first in the league.



Matt Weaver drove in four runners as Arrowhead Christian defeated Calvary Murrieta 8-4 on Tuesday. He went 2-for-4.
