Yukon won the last time they faced Choctaw and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Millers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Yellowjackets 2-1. Given Yukon's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 13th, while Choctaw are ranked 96th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Yukon is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Choctaw, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Yukon is set to challenge their familiar foe Norman North at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Choctaw will square off against rival Eisenhower at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
