Malvern had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. Everything went their way against the Warren Lumberjacks as they made off with a 14-7 win. This was a revenge game for the Leopards: when they faced off against the Lumberjacks back in March, they had to take a 16-9 loss.

Malvern's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Warren, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9.

Looking ahead, Malvern will welcome Morrilton at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Devil Dogs' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Leopards' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Warren does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
