Softball Recap: Richland Has No Trouble Against Ferndale

Richland had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Ferndale on Monday. The Rams' pitcher stepped up to hand the Yellow Jackets a 13-0 shutout. That 13 run margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

Richland got a massive performance out of Addy Matejovich, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That home run was Matejovich's first of the season. Bella Marguccio was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
