Softball Recap: Fairview Knights vs. Longmont Trojans
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thompson Valley, Fairview was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 20-6 margin over the Longmont Trojans. The Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
The team relied heavily on Julia Savage, who went 3-for-3 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Cowin, who scored three runs while going 4-for-4.
