Volleyball Game Preview: Central Lancers vs. George Washington Eagles

The Central Lancers will take on the George Washington Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over MAST Charter II. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Voyagers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, George Washington beat Masterman 3-1 on Thursday.

George Washington's victory bumped their record up to 17-0. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

Central was able to grind out a solid victory over George Washington in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, winning 3-1. Do the Lancers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
