Glendale is 8-2 against Williamsburg since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Vikings will be playing at home against the Blue Pirates at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Glendale has three straight wins, Williamsburg has 23 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Glendale proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 11) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Juniata Valley 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted since May 20, 2024.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Williamsburg's offense. They lost 17-0 to West Branch on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Blue Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 5-7. As for Williamsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.

Everything went Glendale's way against Williamsburg when the teams last played back in April, as Glendale made off with a 16-5 victory. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
