Baseball Recap: Prentice Comes Up Short

Prentice's last matchup with Edgar could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Friday. The Buccaneers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost seven in a row.

Prentice now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Edgar, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Prentice and Edgar will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Buccaneers are set to face off against their familiar foe Phillips at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Edgar will take on rival Marathon at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
