Basketball Recap: Logansport Takes a Loss

Logansport has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 59-52 to the Ebarb Rebels on Monday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Tigers came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Rebels are ranked 220th).

Logansport's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Ebarb, they moved to 6-11 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Logansport Tigers challenge the Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ebarb, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Stanley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Stanley's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Ebarb has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
