Basketball Recap: Pacific Find Success

Pacific got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They came out on top against the Powers Cruisers by a score of 42-31 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for Pacific in their matchups with Powers: they've now won three in a row.

Pacific's victory bumped their record up to 2-18. As for Powers, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pacific will host Glendale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Powers, they will welcome Mapleton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Mapleton will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Powers surely won't give up without a fight.
