On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Southwestern Wildcats beat the Ithaca Bulldogs 62-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Southwestern's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Ithaca, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-3.

Southwestern won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Riverdale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Southwestern is facing Riverdale at the right time seeing as Riverdale is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Ithaca, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Weston at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Ithaca knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Weston likes a good challenge.
