Softball Recap: Olive Branch Comes Up Short

Olive Branch fell victim to South Panola and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 19-0 to the South Panola Tigers. The loss continues a trend for the Conquistadors in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Olive Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for South Panola, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olive Branch will host Center Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Panola, a feisty cat fight will be fought as South Panola Tigers face off against DeSoto Central Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in their favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
