Football Game Preview: Colquitt County Packers vs. Richmond Hill Wildcats + How To Watch

Colquitt County is a perfect 3-0 against Richmond Hill since November of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Packers will face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Colquitt County will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

On Friday, Colquitt County strolled past Camden County with points to spare, taking the game 45-28.

Jae Lamar produced another solid performance rushing for 147 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 63 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Malik Walker did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 81 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Richmond Hill entered their matchup against Lowndes on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wildcats lost 49-23 to the Vikings.

Richmond Hill didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Elias 'Eli' Grant.

Colquitt County's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.2 points over those games. As for Richmond Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Friday's contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Lamar and Amire Miller. Lamar just won't slow down this season and has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 102.1 rushing yards per game. Miller has been a dominant force too and has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 68.2 rushing yards per game.

Colquitt County strolled past Richmond Hill in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a score of 31-13. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Wildcats' Joshua Troupe, who rushed for 260 yards and two scores while picking up 8.4 yards per carry.
