Baseball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin blew Canton out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Canton got their revenge. The Panthers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Panthers have suffered against the Bulldogs since May 4, 2016.

Franklin now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Canton, they pushed their record up to 7-4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Franklin will be playing in front of their home fans against Sharon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Canton, they will head out to face off against Mansfield at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
