Basketball Recap: Mount Calm Takes a Loss

Mount Calm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Oglesby Tigers 47-14. Mount Calm was probably out for revenge after losing 60-30 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mount Calm's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Oglesby, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 3-7 record.

Mount Calm will square off against Newman International Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oglesby, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Covington at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Oglesby is facing Covington at the right time seeing as Covington is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
