Volleyball Game Preview: Ord Chanticleers vs. St. Paul Wildcats

Ord is 0-10 against St. Paul since October of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Chanticleers will take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Ord will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Ord earned a 3-1 win over Centura.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when St. Paul faced off against Doniphan-Trumbull on Tuesday. The Wildcats skirted past the Cardinals 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since September 19th.

St. Paul wouldn't go down easily and took Doniphan-Trumbull into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 19-25, 23-25, 15-10.

Ord better keep an eye on Delaney Jennings. She was instrumental in St. Paul's win, getting 20 digs and three assists. Those 20 digs gave Jennings a new career-high.

Ord's record now sits at 11-16. As for St. Paul, their record is now 19-9.

Ord couldn't quite get it done against St. Paul when the teams last played back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Chanticleers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
