Softball Recap: Blissfield Takes a Loss

Sand Creek hit Blissfield with a five-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Royals lost 15-5 to the Aggies. The Royals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aggies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Savannah Stalker was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaitlin Bloom, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Blissfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sand Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Blissfield will take on Britton Deerfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sand Creek, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Madison at 4:00 p.m.
