On the hitting side, Payten Bates was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Jesse Frierson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Branford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bell only posted a batting average of .269.

Branford has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Bell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
