Appleton East and Appleton West faced off in a cross-town battle on Friday. The Appleton East Patriots simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Appleton West Terrors 74-33. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season.

Appleton East is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points over those games. As for Appleton West, they are on a 22-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-22.
