Basketball Recap: Surry Central Comes Up Short

Surry Central was the 46-35 winner over North Surry when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Surry Central Golden Eagles took a hard 53-35 fall against the North Surry Greyhounds on Monday. The Golden Eagles have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Surry Central's record is now 15-8. As for North Surry, their win bumped their record up to 16-8.

Surry Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Surry, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North Wilkes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Wilkes will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something North Surry surely won't give up without a fight.
