Volleyball Recap: Ball Takes a Loss

Ball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Angleton Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Tornadoes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-18.

Ball's offense was headlined by Avery Moore and Magnolia Malzahn, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Madison Gaido and her 23 assists.

Ball now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Angleton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

Ball wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Iowa Colony on the 12th. As for Angleton, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Santa Fe on the 12th.
