Soccer Recap: Wauwatosa West Takes a Loss

Wauwatosa West lost against Germantown back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans came up short against the Warhawks, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Wauwatosa West can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 85th, while Germantown are ranked third).

Wauwatosa West has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8-3 record this season. As for Germantown, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Coming up, Wauwatosa West will face off against Wisconsin Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Germantown has already played their next match (against Plymouth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
