Basketball Game Preview: Christian Heritage Sentinels vs. Poetry Community Christian Pioneer

The Christian Heritage Sentinels will venture away from home to face off against the Poetry Community Christian Pioneer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Christian Heritage has four straight victories, Poetry Community Christian has 22 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Christian Heritage didn't have too much trouble with Non Varsity Opponent as they won 41-27.

Meanwhile, Poetry Community Christian took a blow against Trinity Christian on Tuesday, falling 65-24. While losing is never fun, the Pioneer can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1529th, while the Trojans are ranked 720th).

Christian Heritage has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Poetry Community Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
