Soccer Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline was the 3-2 winner over Higley when they last played one another back in January of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Skyline Coyotes lost 4-1 to the Higley Knights on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Coyotes have lost by exactly three goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Anthony Vasquez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Skyline now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Higley, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Skyline wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Queen Creek on the 11th. As for Higley, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Desert Ridge on the 6th.
