There's no place like home for The Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They strolled past the Arrupe Jesuit Generals with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 41-25. The score was all tied up 13-13 at the break, but the Wildcats were the (much) better team in the second half.

The Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lilly Millan out in front who went 6-for-12 en route to 17 points and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Millan has scored at least a third of The Academy's points. Keara Pogue was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to 15 boards and eight steals.

The Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-16. As for Arrupe Jesuit, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Coming up, The Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Eagle Ridge Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arrupe Jesuit, they will venture away from home to square off against Stargate School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stargate School has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
