Baseball Recap: Pisgah Comes Up Short

After flying high against East Henderson on Friday, Pisgah came back down to earth. The Bears came up short against the Crest Chargers on Monday, falling 7-0. Considering the last time the Bears couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Pisgah's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Crest, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

Pisgah didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Madison on the 16th. As for Crest, they have also already played their next matchup, a 9-0 victory against Shelby on the 16th.
