Soccer Recap: Monroe Catholic Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

North Pole kept up with Monroe Catholic until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Rams never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Monroe Catholic, who have now won three games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit North Pole with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jett McCoullgh, Talon Loving, and Tristian Nicholson.

Monroe Catholic's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three matchups. As for North Pole, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-7-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Monroe Catholic and North Pole will both be playing Redington the next time they take the pitch. The Patriots will host the Huskies at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Rams will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
