Mountain View put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Pinedale Wranglers 41-14. The Buffalos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wranglers, too.
Mountain View got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Justus Platts out in front who rushed for 101 yards and one TD on only nine carries, and also threw for 107 yards and one touchdown while completing 76.9% of his passes. That's the most rushing yards Platts has posted since back in October of 2024. Jackson Sawyer also helped out as he racked up 105 rushing yards.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Mountain View proved: they limited Pinedale to a paltry 1.6 yards per carry. The Buffalos didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.8.
