Baseball Recap: Osborn's Undefeated Season over After 18 Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Osborn finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They lost 15-0 to the Ferndale Eagles. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Knights, who until this game were averaging 3.11 runs allowed.

Having lost for the first time this season, Osborn fell to 17-1. As for Ferndale, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

While Osborn had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
