Softball Recap: North Mecklenburg Takes a Loss

North Mecklenburg lost against Hough back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings came up short against the Huskies, falling 19-2. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Mecklenburg now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Hough, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Coming up, North Mecklenburg will face off against Garinger at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hough, they will host Myers Park at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
