Volleyball Game Preview: Sioux Falls Lutheran vs. Beresford Watchdogs

Sioux Falls Lutheran will head out on the road to challenge the Beresford Watchdogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, Sioux Falls Lutheran got the win against Viborg/Hurley by a conclusive 3-0. Sioux Falls Lutheran hasn't had any issues with Viborg/Hurley recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-7, 25-14.

Beresford not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Flandreau with a sharp 3-0 win.

Beresford walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-21.

Beresford's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Sioux Falls Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8.

Sioux Falls Lutheran came out on top in a nail-biter against Beresford in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sioux Falls Lutheran since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
