Volleyball Recap: Midway Comes Up Short

Midway lost against Archie back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Whirlwinds.

Dakota Dean paced Midway's offense, picking up seven kills. Dean got some help from Ella Lyon and her 19 assists. Bella Landis controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Midway's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2. As for Archie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Midway has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Prairie View on the 27th. As for Archie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Warsaw on the 27th.
