Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Needham). They never let the Braintree Wamps get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Needham needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Needham is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Braintree, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Needham will host Walpole at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Braintree, they will square off against Mansfield at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
