Volleyball Recap: Inglewood Wins Going Away Against Hawkins

The Inglewood Sentinels got the win against the Hawkins Hawks on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Inglewood was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-20.

Janae Canty paced Inglewood's offense, picking up 16 kills. Canty got some help from Abigal Aguirre and her 14 assists. Taniyah Baker controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Inglewood now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Hawkins, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Inglewood will challenge Santa Monica at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Sentinels surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hawkins, they will face off against USC-MAE at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
