Basketball Recap: Chinook Takes a Loss

If Chinook was feeling good fresh off their 65-30 takedown of Cut Bank last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chinook Beeters took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln County Lions on Friday. The Beeters were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Chinook's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lincoln County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chinook will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rocky Boy at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Lincoln County, they will head out on the road to take on Libby at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
