Preview: Liberty Christian vs. White Swan
Liberty Christian will look to defend their home turf on Friday against White Swan at 7:00 PM. Liberty Christian are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Liberty Christian were able to grind out a solid victory over Mabton last Friday, winning 18-8. Junior Curtis Morgan was the offensive standout of the match for Liberty Christian, as he picked up 79 yards on the ground and accumulated 230 passing yards. Morgan has been a consistent playmaker for Liberty Christian as this was the 6th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-76, which was the final score in White Swan's tilt against Tri-Cities Prep. White Swan were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-69.
Liberty Christian's win lifted them to 4-2 while White Swan's defeat dropped them down to 0-8. We'll find out if Liberty Christian can add another positive mark to their record or if White Swan can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Liberty Christian's step.
