Volleyball Recap: Platte County's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Platte County waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Fort Osage Indians with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Platte County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-13, 25-15.

Malin Cole paced Platte County's offense, picking up 14 kills. Cole got some help from Carissa Bacon and her 15 assists. Cole was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Platte County's victory bumped their record up to 18-9-2. As for Fort Osage, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 20-10-1.

Platte County has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Grain Valley on the 16th. As for Fort Osage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Truman on the 16th.
