Grenada had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Starkville on Friday. The Chargers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Yellowjackets a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Chargers have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Starkville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
