Volleyball Recap: Elba Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

There's no place like home for Elba, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Palmer Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Bluejays: when they faced off against the Tigers on Saturday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Elba never let Palmer on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23.

Addison Wysocki paced Elba's offense, picking up 11 kills. Wysocki got some help from Lacey Barg and her 19 assists. Finally, Wysocki was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

With the win, Elba broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 12-12. As for Palmer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-17.

Coincidentally, Elba and Palmer will both be playing Archangels Catholic the next time they take the court. The Bluejays will host the Defenders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
